Eric King, is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and has been in the trust business for over Fifteen years. As a Wealth Strategist for Royal Capital Management group, LLC (RCM), a company he founded, Eric works with families to help them establish their comprehensive financial plan from Insurance Planning to Trust & Estate planning.
Prior to opening RCM, Eric had tenures at MassMutual Trust Company in Enfield CT, Aetna-ING Trust Company in Hartford, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Trust Company in New York City.
Eric has served as a Trust Administrator, Trust Operations Officer, and a Trust Senior Business Analyst, New Business Development Officer, and Instructor to name a few. He has administered over 150 account relationships, run operations settling accounts, rolling up trades and managed a common trust fund. As an analyst, he developed trust administrative and operational software, and as an instructor he taught financial advisors about planning for families with individuals with special needs.
Eric has a BA from Louisiana State University with a concentration in finance and marketing. He was an ROTC scholarship recipient and served on active duty for 10 years and 10 in the Army reserves. Major King retired just after completing a one-year active duty tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He also is an honor graduate of the Cannon Trust School, and holds a CTFA, CSOP, NASD series 6,63, & 26, and has his Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
Eric resides in Middletown CT with his lovely wife Theresa and three fantastic children Ryan, Rachel, and EB. Eric also serves as the youth Director for Shiloh Christian Church in Middletown.
